Welcome to our beautiful journey through Messina, Italy 🇮🇹
In this video, we explore one of the most charming port cities in Sicily. Our day begins with a delicious meal at a local restaurant, where we show the exterior view of Ritrovo Porta Messina. From there, we pass by the University of Messina and capture the statue of Carlo III di Borbone, reflecting the rich history of the city.
Next, we visit the historic main square of Messina, where you can see several iconic statues and the famous world-renowned Clock Tower from the outside. We then step inside the magnificent Duomo di Messina – Basilica Cattedrale Metropolitana di Santa Maria, one of the most important landmarks in the city, and admire its stunning interior architecture.
Our journey continues as we head to Messina Train Station, followed by views of mainland Sicily. After that, we board a ferry and travel across the sea from Messina to Villa San Giovanni. While sailing through the middle of the sea, we capture breathtaking views of a historic seaside fort and the famous Madonna della Lettera statue, standing proudly in the waters and welcoming travelers to the city.
Finally, we return to the same place where our journey started, bringing this memorable exploration of Messina to a perfect close.
