Traveling to the Algerian Sahara as a foreigner is not easy 🇩🇿

Cycling The World – Ep. 42

In this episode of my journey to travel the world on a bicycle, I am trying to reach the Sahara Desert in Western Algeria, the so called “Grand Erg Occidental” and its scenic sand dunes. Unfortunately the Algerian government restricts independent tourism for foreigners in the desert regions, so I have to coorporate with the authorities to reach my destination.
