🚨👆 If you’re happy with your current home internet, PLEASE don’t think you need to buy a setup like this. My condo building is just old with loads of signal hindering concrete walls in-unit. But if you’re curious, my internet service provider’s modem/router combo gets put into bridge-mode (disabling the router portion), then, the UXG Fiber Gateway gets plugged directly via ethernet into the service provider’s modem/router combo box, and then, the two U7 Pros which acts as the router/access point gets plugged into the UXG Fiber Gateway via Ethernet (with the gateway having a 1TB NVME SSD drive to record and store camera footage) and the three G6 Instant cameras wirelessly sync to the UXG via the U7 Pros. BUT AGAIN… if you have a strong signal with your existing setup, there are WAY more affordable camera options to go with (I used to use TapoLink ones available on Amazon… this one to be exact: https://amzn.to/4b14Wjr )

🚨👆I love the Smart Plug because I can use Hue to control anything that plugs into a wall. Because I live in an older building that doesn’t have enough ceiling lights, I use floor lamps with ridiculous bright bulbs – literally 8X brighter than even the brightest Philips Hue bulb – so those ultra bright bulbs screw into the Ikea floor lamps, and those lamps get plugged into these Hue Smart Plugs, which get plugged into the way, turning the entire lamp into a Hue system compatible light… and if you’re curious, this is the bulb I use for them on Amazon: https://amzn.to/49oXcXe
