Seated Strength Workout // Total Body Exercises for Seniors & Beginners in a Chair
Let’s build strength together with this bone building seated workout! All exercises in this video are performed in a seated position using a set of dumbbells.
After a nice warm up we will alternate exercises between the upper and lower body. We will also put the exercises together for compound movements that are a great challenge for our muscles and minds.
For reference, I’m using a set of 5 pound and weights. Please start with light weights and progress to heavier weighs as you get stronger. Using water bottles as weights is a great way to start as well. Please go at your own pace and listen to your body.
This is a great workout to help you build bone density and muscle strength. Make sure you complete the workout with the extended cool down that will help with your mobility and help reduce any muscle soreness.
Please leave me a comment and let me know how you enjoyed this workout. I love hearing from my viewers!
